The bathroom at Lavender Cottage was just what I needed after a long day of exploring. The shower was amazing, helping me wash away all the stress and tiredness. It felt like a refreshing oasis for my weary soul.

Honestly, the only thing I didn't love about the cottage was the fact that there was only one bathroom. But I understand that for some people, this might not be an issue at all.

I recently stayed at Lavender Cottage in Pickering for a weekend getaway. The cottage was absolutely spotless and the sleeping and sitting areas were very comfortable. The kitchen was well-equipped and the bathroom was good. The communication from the owners was excellent, providing all the necessary information. The location was perfect, just a 3-minute walk to the town center. I highly recommend a stay at this fabulous little cottage and look forward to visiting again soon.

The cottage was situated on a busy road with constant traffic, making it difficult to cross and causing disruption to sleep. The noise of overnight HGV traffic passing so close to the cottage was intolerable.

The nearest airport is Teesside International Airport, making it incredibly convenient for travellers like me. Plus, it's only 69 km away from the accommodation, so no need to endure a long journey. This holiday home offers so much convenience with its range of amenities. From a microwave for quick meals to a fireplace for cozy evenings, and even a barbecue for fun cookouts. It's like having a mini paradise right at your fingertips. The location of this holiday home is perfect for exploring the area. Just 28 km away, The Spa Scarborough provides a wonderful escape for some pampering and relaxation. A blissful treat for anyone looking to unwind.
